Request for Development Cooperation Projects 2026 (Argentina and Paraguay)
Section
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Buenos Aires has opened a development grant opportunity for small-scale projects across Argentina and Paraguay, inviting local NGO and civil society applicants to act on pressing community needs.
This private funding round encourages projects that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, giving grassroots actors the chance to lead change in their neighborhoods.
Organizations based in Argentina or Paraguay are invited to submit proposals crafted in English and delivered both digitally and in print form. Funding ranges between approximately 200 000 and 500 000 Czech Koruna, enabling impactful yet manageable initiatives. Projects may address a wide array of development priorities—including sustainable agriculture, economic inclusion, environmental protection, access to education and healthcare, and the advancement of women in society.
Applications that demonstrate strong alignment with Czech development priorities, transparency, cost-effectiveness, and project sustainability are expected to be favored. Co-financing is encouraged, though not required, reinforcing shared investment. Projects are expected to start in March 2025 and conclude by the end of October that same year, ensuring timely results that benefit local communities.
This call represents a powerful chance for civil society groups to transform needs into action and build meaningful collaborations with international development partners.
