The United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) has launched the Project Title lot 3: Strengthening the Resilience and Economic reintegration of conflict affected Children and Women including those exiting armed groups in BAY states.

Specific Objectives
  • Children and women, especially adolescent girls, exiting armed groups including affected population in host communities have increased an equitable access to economic reintegration assistance.
  • The institutional technical capacities of community-based child protection structures supported by an auxiliary social work strengthened to support the social and economic reintegration and resilience of vulnerable children and their families in conflict affected communities.

Expected Results 
  • Result statement 1: Support the Economic Reintegration of conflict affected children enrolled into vocational trainings across Bay sates.
    • Result 1: Children and youths formerly associated with non-state armed groups and other conflict affected children and equipped with compact vocational trainings are supported with effective and sustainable economic reintegration pathways across communities in BAY states.
      • Output 1: 1600 boys and girls exiting armed groups and other conflict affected children enrolled into vocational training centers are guided and provided with effective economic opportunities in BAY States.
  • Result statement 2: Support Sustainable livelihoods of conflict affected children and women and survivors of gender-based violence across Bay sates.
    • Result 2: Access to sustainable community-based economic livelihood support for girls and women exiting armed groups, as well as for other conflict affected girls and women in the camps or in communities, is strengthened and increased.
      • Output 2: Adolescent girls and women exiting armed groups, together with other conflict affected girls and women have access to sustainable community-based economic livelihood opportunities.
  • Result statement 3: Prevention of & response to violence against children, girls and women across Vocational training institutions, schools and at community level in BAY states (Child safeguarding).
    • Result 3: Children and women formerly associated with non-state armed groups and other conflict affected children and women in the camp and in the community have access to safe and dignified economic reintegration services across BAY states.
      • Output 3: Boys and girls exiting armed groups and other conflict affected children and women are provided with safe and conducive economic reintegration services across BAY States.
