Pillar 1: Strengthening Civil Society Engagement and Community Voice in Domestic Resource Mobilization Program
Section
The GFF × CIVIC Platform is inviting expressions of interest for Pillar 1, which focuses on strengthening civil society engagement and community voice in domestic resource mobilization for reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health and nutrition (RMNCAH-N).
This initiative invites consortia to apply for grants aimed at scaling community-led solutions and integrating them into national health systems, thereby enhancing adolescent access, equity, and outcomes.
The total funding envelope for this grant is approximately US$5 million, intended to be implemented over a period of two years. The grants are designed to support the scaling of locally proven, community-based innovations by integrating them into national health systems and service delivery platforms. This approach aims to improve adolescent access, equity, and outcomes in reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health and nutrition (RMNCAH-N).
To be eligible for this grant, applicants must be legal entities that fall outside the public or for-profit sectors and are eligible to receive foreign funding under the country’s applicable legal framework. The CIVIC × GFF platform requires consortia of CSOs to apply, with a designated lead CSO that will hold fiduciary and legal responsibility. This structure ensures effective management and accountability throughout the project.
The initiative emphasizes the importance of consortium-based applications, highlighting how collaborative models can enhance the scale, sustainability, and equity of interventions. By bringing together diverse organizations with complementary strengths, the consortia can leverage their collective expertise to drive impactful change in adolescent health and nutrition.
This call for expressions of interest presents a unique opportunity for CSOs and youth-centered entities to compose partnerships that can drive forward a vision of accessible, equitable health and nutrition outcomes for adolescents around the globe.
