The Agami Education Foundation is now accepting project proposals for FY 2026 under its School Program (SP) initiative, dedicated to supporting the education of underprivileged children in Bangladesh.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible schools are encouraged to apply.
- The following basic principles and criteria are followed while undertaking new projects each fiscal year under the Agami School Program:
- The applicant institution must be secular and non-political;
- The institution must provide opportunities for education to all, regardless of religion, caste, or ethnicity;
- The institution must have educational programs for disadvantaged children;
- Generally, educational institutions from pre-primary to secondary level are considered more seriously in accepting projects. In this case, government/MPO/kindergarten educational institutions are not taken into consideration;
- In project adoption, indicators consistent with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as quality education, health and sanitation, access to clean water, gender equality, etc., are given special priority;
- In addition to educational programs, emphasis is also placed on school-based health, nutrition, and economic development programs;
- In selecting schools or local partners, preference will be given to institutions that are consistent with Agami's mission, vision, and values;
- The entire process from application receipt to project approval is conducted on the basis of transparency and impartiality; any lobbying in this regard will result in the application being deemed ineligible.
Application Requirements
- The project proposal must be prepared in English and uploaded as an attachment to a forwarding letter form signed by the head of the institution.
