Expected Results

• Beneficiary identification, registration, verification, sensitization and mobilization.
• In-kind food distribution and management of the distribution site.
• Where catering services is used to provide hot meals to the target beneficiaries, supervise the service provider to ensure the safety and quality of the food served to the beneficiaries.
• Where the option of providing food assistance is through hot meals prepared using WFP commodities is preferred, the partner will be responsible for overall management of the hot meals programme.
• If Cash Based Transfers (CBT) is used as the transfer modality through immediate cash, cash accounts or mobile money the partner will be responsible for managing the distribution site, mobilization, verification and distribution of SIM cards.
• Setting up and managing a Community Engagement and Feedback Mechanism (CEFM).
• Situation monitoring and reporting.
• Representing WFP in sectoral activities related to the response at field level.
• Monitoring and evaluation.
• Nutrition support to the affected population will be delivered through treatment programmes for moderate acute malnutrition in children under-five years of age and pregnant and breast-feeding women and girls and blanket supplementary feeding programme if acute malnutrition levels in the community exceeds the emergency threshold of 15%.
