The Office for Victims of Crime is requesting grant applications to support services for victims of technology facilitated abuse, defined as the use of technology and the Internet to bully, harass, stalk, intimidate, or control a victim.
Goals and Objectives
- Goal 1: The goal of this program is to identify and serve victims of TFA.
- Objective 1: Develop a protocol to improve assistance provided to victims of TFA, including which service providers and community partners are involved in the response, what their specific role is, and when they are engaged.
- Objective 2: Provide TFA victim services. (e.g., privacy management, image/video removal, safety planning, mental health support).
- Objective 3: Advise victims on their rights.
Funding Priorities
- In order to advance public safety and help meet its mission, OJP will provide priority consideration to applicants that propose projects designed to advance the goals. Applicants seeking priority consideration should specify in the proposal narrative which of the following goal(s) the project is intended to advance and how it will do so:
- Directly supporting law enforcement operations (including immigration law enforcement operations);
- Combatting violent crime;
- Supporting services to American citizens;
- Protecting American children; and
- Supporting American victims of trafficking and sexual assault.
