Levi Lassen Foundation Grants for Jewish Community Initiatives (Netherlands)
Section
The Levi Lassen Foundation invites applications from Jewish organizations in the Netherlands for projects that strengthen Jewish identity, community, and cooperation.
The Foundation supports cultural, creative and Jewish social activities in the Netherlands that promote the strengthening of contemporary Jewish identity and/or sense of community, initiatives by Jewish organizations in the Netherlands aimed at Jewish youth where necessary, activities in the Netherlands aimed at improving public opinion towards the Jewish community and maintaining and improving relations between Jewish and non-Jewish Dutch people, and activities that promote cooperation between the various Jewish denominations in the Netherlands. Activities with an emphasis on commemoration do not fall directly within the benefit policy, and applicants are encouraged to contact the Foundation by email with a brief description to check eligibility.
Applications must be complete to be considered. Submissions require a fully completed digital application form and necessary attachments, preferably in PDF. These include registration form, a project plan, project budget, organizational budget, organizational narrative, and a list of the twenty largest funders in the past three years.
The project plan must briefly outline the description, reason, purpose, expected results, target audience, collaboration partners, and the strengths and weaknesses of the initiative. Applicants must also indicate the start and end dates, the expected number of visitors or participants, and the number of volunteers involved.
The project budget should detail all estimated costs such as quantities, prices, and hourly rates, as well as a coverage plan showing other funders and their contributions. The organizational narrative should explain in one page the mission, goals, and approach of the applying organization.
