The Menstrual Health & Hygiene Management Programme aims to design MHHH education and support systems that are inclusive and responsive to the diverse educational, health and social needs of all girls and women, both in and out of school, including those with disabilities.

Expected Results
- 20 Districts implement the MoE MHHM guidelines at school and zonal level. 1,000 MoE staff trained in MHHM, with demonstrated improved capacity 400 schools have MHHM targets and WASH indicators in their operational plans 300 schools conduct MHHM activities on a regular basis (monthly or quarterly) 25,000 menstruating students participated in MHHM related activities 50,000 girls and women have timely access to MHHM Services.

- Experience working with UN
- Past collaborations with UNICEF or other international development partners
- Cost effectiveness
- Evidence to deliver the project while guaranteeing value for money and NGO contribution - Value for money and co-financing contribution by CSO
- Sector expertise and experience
- Proven experience in implementation of MHHM and WASH programming in Zambia over the past, five years
- Other
- Qualified staff with knowledge and capacity to implement the large-scale projects. Appropriate/adequate systems in place required to implement the project to the highest standards of quality
