The Generation Google Scholarship: for women in computer science in Ireland will be awarded based on the strength of each candidate's demonstrated leadership, and academic background.
Funding Information
- Selected students will receive a 5,000 EUR award for two consecutive years of their undergraduate studies.
Eligibility Criteria
- The program is open to qualified students who meet all the minimum qualifications.
- For students who may not be eligible, they strongly encourage you to visit and to find out about alternative opportunities and programs that are available for your country/region based on your academic level.
- To be eligible to apply, applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled as a first or second year undergraduate student at a university in Ireland for the 2024-2025 academic year
- Intend to continue pursuing their Bachelors degree at a university in Ireland for at least the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic years
- Be studying computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field
- Demonstrate leadership
- Demonstrate a strong academic record
Ineligibility Criteria
- Children of Google employees are not eligible to apply.

- General background information (e.g. contact information and details about your current and intended universities)
- Resume/CV
- Two letters of recommendation
- Academic transcripts from your current institution
- Responses to short answer essay questions
- Before starting the application, please have the following ready for upload:
