• Impact Area: The rights of forcibly displaced persons are effectively guaranteed, ensuring their protection and dignity in accordance with international and national legal standards.
  • Outcome 1.1: Forcibly displaced persons receive timely reception and protection services tailored to their specific needs.
    • Outputs: 
      • Identification systems for forcibly displaced persons, registration mechanisms, and comprehensive care spaces are strengthened to ensure a timely and appropriate response.
      • Reception and temporary shelter spaces are established and managed in a safe and dignified manner, with a gender, age, and diversity-sensitive approach.
      • Case management services are strengthened and coordinated with the State and specialized protection networks, paying special attention to the needs of children, adolescents, and survivors of gender-based violence.
  • Outcome 1.2: Forcibly displaced persons access the asylum system in a timely manner, through procedures that comply with international standards and guarantee effective protection.
    • Outputs: 
      • UNHCR and its partners provide information and support to ensure access to the asylum system for people in need of international protection.
      • Asylum seekers access free and specialized legal services that provide guidance, representation, and accompaniment throughout the asylum process.
  • Outcome 1.3: Networks and Community organizations are strengthened to prevent and mitigate violence, promoting safer and more inclusive environments for forcibly displaced people and host communities.
    • Outputs:
      • Community networks and organizations are strengthened to promote inclusion, prevent violence and xenophobia, and foster social cohesion through safe spaces that engage children, adolescents, and youth in cultural, artistic, and sports activities.
      • Community capacities are strengthened to identify and mitigate environmental risks, including natural hazards, disasters, and environmental degradation.
      • Communication mechanisms with forcibly displaced people and host communities are established and strengthened to promote participation, build trust, and support community-based violence prevention efforts.
