• Applicants Should Note that the Community Projects of the Constituency Development Fund Is Meant to Finance Community Projects for Poverty Reduction such as listed below:
  • Water and sanitation
  • Road construction
  • Agriculture projects
  • Markets, bus shelters and security
  • Education and health projects
  • Sport and recreation projects
  • Police posts
  • Crossing points
  • Canals and dip tanks

Eligibility Criteria

• Project application forms shall be obtained free charge from the local authority. Parliamentary constituency office or any public institution in the constituency.
• Application Forms Shall Be Typed or Filled in a Cleat Handwriting.
• Project applications to the CDFC shall be accompanied by the following documents:
• Signed minutes of the zonal assembly meeting.
• Signed Minutes of the Ward Development Executive Committee Meeting
• The constituency development fund committee shall only consider applications signed by the ward development committee chairperson. Where the chairperson is not available, the vice chairperson shall sign and where the vice chairperson is not available, the committee shall nominate a member amongst themselves who shall sign the applications.

Ineligibility Criteria

• Any project proposal submitted outside this scope shall not be considered for possible funding.
