Call for EOIs: Cash Transfers for Vulnerable Families in Nampula and Cabo Delgado (Mozambique)

The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking proposals for initiatives aimed at supporting vulnerable families in Mozambique, specifically in the Nampula and Cabo Delgado provinces.
This opportunity focuses on livelihoods and social protection sectors, emphasizing cash and voucher assistance, self-reliance, social policy, social protection, and social safety nets.
The overall objective of the project is to ensure the effective delivery of unconditional cash transfers to families identified through the PASP and PASD-PE programmes. These families are selected based on their levels of vulnerability, with the goal of mitigating the impact of livelihood losses caused by various shocks, such as economic disruptions or environmental crises.
Applicants are encouraged to propose detailed activities and provide clear strategies and methodologies to achieve the project’s goals. The focus is on building resilience and promoting self-reliance among affected populations by delivering timely and effective financial support.
This initiative represents an important step toward strengthening social safety nets and enhancing social protection frameworks in Mozambique. Through unconditional cash transfers, it aims to provide immediate relief while supporting the longer-term recovery and stability of vulnerable households in the targeted regions.
