Applications are now open for the Equality in Education Fund, which was implemented under the coordination of Support Foundation for Civil Society, with the cooperation and financial support of the Yamantürk Foundation, to support the projects of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) working to strengthen girls' and young women's access to education.
The Fund will contribute to the increase and dissemination of innovative approaches in education for girls and young women, support vocational training, and the participation of young women who are neither in education nor employment (NEET) in education or employment.
Priority Areas
- Projects to be supported under the grant program are expected to focus on at least one of the following priority areas:
- Efforts to eliminate obstacles to girls' access to the right to education,
- Efforts to support girls and young women to continue their education,
- Educational studies aimed at developing critical thinking, problem solving and leadership skills,
- Studies on the participation of young women in vocational training and employment.
Funding Information
- The total amount of grants to be distributed under the grant program is 1,000,000 TL. Applicants can request a maximum of 1,000,000 TL from the grant program.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations with legal personality that meet the application criteria below can apply for the grant program:
- Associations, foundations, non-profit cooperatives, unions, foundation university application and research centers, federations/confederations established in Türkiye,
- Focusing on education, children's rights and/or gender equality,
- Organizations with revenues between 100,000 TL and 10,000,000 TL in 2024.
