The Administration for Children & Families is accepting applications for the Maternity Group Home Program to provide street based outreach; safe, stable, and appropriate shelter; and comprehensive services for a period of 18 months, or 21 months under extenuating circumstances, to pregnant or parenting youth ages 16 through 21 who have run away from home, been forced to leave home, have no safe alternate living arrangement, are experiencing homelessness, or are at risk of being homeless.
Goal
- The goal is to help youth establish self-sufficient and sustainable lives for themselves and, if applicable, their children. The programs promote economic independence and prevent long-term dependency on social services.

- Award Floor: $100,000
Eligibility Criteria
- These types of entities may apply:
- Public and private nonprofit entities
- State, county, city or township, and special district governments.
- Independent school districts.
- Public- and state-controlled institutions of higher education.
- Private institutions of higher education.
- Public housing authorities and Indian housing authorities.
- Nonprofits with or without a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education.
- Native American tribal governments (federally recognized).
- Native American tribal organizations (other than federally recognized tribal governments).
