Focus Areas

• It is expected that the projects to be supported during this period of the fund will focus on at least one of the following activities aimed at strengthening gender equality in Türkiye:
  • Towards the establishment of local solidarity networks and safe spaces or the maintenance of existing ones,
  • Contributing to areas such as poverty, disaster, disability, migration and ecology through gender equality,
  • Supporting advocacy activities and/or advocacy capacities regarding gender equality,
  • On the production of feminist data/information and their dissemination,
  • Studies that improve the capacity and well-being of organizations will be prioritized.

Priority Areas

• Studies on establishing local solidarity networks and safe spaces or maintaining existing ones (Example: Women's counseling center studies, women's solidarity network studies, shelter running costs, etc.),
• Studies that contribute to areas such as poverty, disaster, disability, migration, ecology through gender equality (Example: Disaster studies sensitive to gender equality, combating women's poverty, etc.),
• Studies that support advocacy activities and/or advocacy capacities regarding gender equality (Example: Studies targeting decision-makers in processes such as the constitution, law, regulation, etc., advocacy studies carried out through alternative methods such as art, campaigns, etc.),
• Studies on the production of feminist data/information and their dissemination (Example: Data production that can be used in advocacy and campaign work, different gender equality trainings/workshops appropriate to context and needs, etc.),
• Studies that improve the capacity and well-being of organizations (Example: supervision of social workers working on violence, volunteer support systems, experience transfer studies, etc.).

Funding Information

• The total amount of the grant to be distributed to NGOs within the scope of the fund's 2025 period is 2,000,000 TL.
• Applicants can request a maximum of 1,000,000 TL from the grant program.
• Implementation period: 6-12 months.

Eligibility Criteria

• Organisations that meet the following application criteria and have a legal personality can apply for the fund:
  • Associations, foundations, non-profit cooperatives, unions, foundation university application and research centers, federations/confederations established in Türkiye,
  • Focusing on gender equality and actively operating,
  • Organizations with revenues between 100,000 TL and 10,000,000 TL in 2024.
