Applications open for Children’s Prize 2025: Infrastructure for Life
Section
Submissions are now open for the Children’s Prize awarded to scientifically-minded individuals with a passion for global child health and a strong commitment to verify the impact of their work.
Globally, over 13,000 children under the age of five die every day. The Children’s Prize is an open online competition with a mission to advance child health and survival by insisting on impact and data-driven interventions. This year, they are looking for projects that support resilient, hard infrastructure. Hard infrastructure refers to tangible, physical structures and systems that are essential for an area to function. Key components of hard infrastructure include, but are not limited to: buildings and facilities, energy, water and sanitation, transportation, communication, and other essential systems such as environmental protection systems and flood control systems. The 2025 Children’s Prize will prioritize initiatives that create long lasting resources that play a core role in sustaining child health.
