The Wawanesa Community Wildfire Prevention Grant supports efforts to build safer, more resilient communities through wildfire prevention and education across Canada. The focus areas of the program are prevention—reducing the likelihood of wildfire by changing behaviours, and mitigation—reducing the impacts of wildfires through measures such as fuel reduction.
