The McKinsey.org Forward is a free ten-week learning program designed to equip individuals at different stages of their careers—from career starters to job changers—with practical skills to succeed in the future of work.

Participants of the Forward learning journey can expect to develop new ways of thinking, expand their skill set, and grow their confidence. The program is designed as an interactive learning journey, combining digital courses, virtual-learning events, assignments, and reflection exercises, requiring about two hours a week for ten weeks.

At the end of the program, participants will receive a McKinsey.org Forward digital badge and join an exclusive global network of life-long learners. Those who complete the Core Skills level will also receive a certificate of completion along with their personalized badge, which can be shared across digital platforms.

The program equips learners with practical workplace skills they can apply immediately. Participants will learn to turn business problems into opportunities by using structured and creative thinking, communicate in a clear and impactful way that drives action, adapt and build emotional awareness for teamwork and independent work, build strong relationships while maintaining well-being at work, and develop a digital toolkit to navigate the modern digital world.

Forward is free for eligible participants as part of McKinsey’s social responsibility commitment. To qualify, individuals must currently reside in the Latin America region, be employed, self-employed, or between jobs with prior work experience, have less than five years of total work experience, and hold at least a high school education or equivalent. A good command of English or Latin American Spanish is also required. Applicants in the nonprofit or non-managerial sectors may still qualify even with more than five years of experience.

The program is delivered online, requiring participants to use their own internet-connected device. While the program provides valuable learning experiences and recognition, it is important to note that McKinsey is not an accredited educational institution, and therefore the program does not grant an accredited qualification or credential. Application closes on 29 September 2025.
