The Going Global Partnerships is pleased to announce the launch of Industry-Academia TNE Grants, which supports collaborations between UK and Indian higher and further education institutions and industry partners.
The grants support three-way partnerships between one UK institution, one Indian institution and one industry partner, from either the UK or India.
The focus is on strengthening industry-academia collaboration for a more joined-up approach to support higher education excellence, a more work-ready workforce and quality research outputs for the benefit of both industry and academia.
Overall, the grants aim to build stronger, more inclusive, industry-connected higher education systems that can support global development impacts.

Duration
- Project length: 12 months, starting 30 September 2025
Eligibility Criteria
- The UK institution should be one of:
- higher education provider with degree-awarding powers.
- not-for-profit research institution, establishment or organisation.
- public or private organisation with a role in the Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET)/Further Education (FE) system.
- The Indian institution should be a government or privately funded higher education institute, recognised by state or central governments and its institutions like UGC, AICTE, or any other competent body in India.
- The industry partner should be a for-profit/commercial organisation, including micro, small, medium and large enterprises.
