The Mansa Municipal Council would like to inform members of the general public that the local authority has begun receiving applications for the empowerment grant under the 2026 constituency development fund (CDF) for both Bahati and Mansa central constituencies.
The Youth, Women and Community are encouraged to apply to the town clerk, Mansa municipal council and submit applications through the ward development committees (WDCS).
Funding Information
- Cooperatives, clubs, associations and organized groups may qualify for a maximum of k40, 000 as a one-off grant.
Eligibility Criteria
- The youth, women and community shall be eligible to access an empowerment grant upon satisfaction of the following criteria:
- Cooperatives, clubs, associations and organized groups;
- Must have a minimum of ten (10) members;
- Proof of a bank account or mobile wallet registered for the group;
- Proposals for empowerment shall provide employment opportunities;
- The proposed project is being undertaken within the constituency;
- Applicants must have been residents in the constituency for over 6 months;
