The United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) has launched the call for expressions of intertest to offer an integrated intervention package Education, protection, Water hygiene-sanitation-Climate change, social policies for children in the East and Adamaoua.

Expected Results
  • Outcome 1.1: By 2028, all schools in targeted areas will provide a quality and safe teaching/learning environment.
  • Outcome 1.2: By 2028, parents in targeted municipalities will have increased awareness of the importance of enrolling and retaining their children in school.
  • Outcome 1.3: By 2028, populations living in targeted municipalities will have access to and use basic drinking water services.
  • Outcome 1.4: By 2028, children and adolescents will have access to and use basic sanitation services
  • Outcome 1.5: By 2028, children and adolescents will have the skills and resources to adopt good hygiene practices and ensure good menstrual health.
  • Outcome 2.1: By 2028, civil registration centers, health facilities and communities in the 8 targeted municipalities will have strengthened their capacities and systems to register births on time and issue birth certificates to children.
  • Outcome 2.2: By 2028, child protection and social welfare services, as well as community child protection mechanisms, will be strengthened.
  • Outcome 2.3: By 2028, girls, boys, adolescents, parents, teachers and community leaders will actively demonstrate their knowledge and commitment to the protection of children's rights, including the prevention and response to gender-based violence (GBV), child marriage, exploitation and abuse (CEA), support for children in situations of disability, as well as the fight against other harmful practices.
