The United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) has alucnhe dthe call for proposals to Develop and Co-create of Information Materials for Adolescents and Parents/Caregivers on socioemotional skills for self and peer support, self-care, and MHPSS-seeking behaviours.

Objectives
  • This partnership pursues the following objectives for two target groups:
    • For adolescents aged 10-18, develops a methodology for their participation for the entire process of content development and co-creates age-appropriate content for materials which will:
      • build the target audience’s socioemotional skills, provide tools and tips for self/ peer support
      • tackle the stigma of applying for MHPSS support
      • provide referral systems (how and where to apply for support)
    • For parents/caregivers of children of different age groups, develops content for materials which will:
      • raise awareness on MHPSS, signs of stress, anxiety, panic attacks etc., provide tools/tips to support their kids
      • raise awareness on self-care, its importance, relaxation exercises etc.
      • provide referral systems (how, when and where to apply for support). The selected CSO will also support UNICEF by conducting up to 3 briefings and/or discussions with a service provider (hired by UNICEF to produce the materials developed through this assignment) to inform on the developed materials
